A Simple Art | The word ‘simple’ is a heartfelt word. It encompassed my family name SIM, and name initials PLE. I resonated with the word ‘simple’ as I have a penchant for a minimalist lifestyle and untainted thinking.
In creating this WordPress site, asimpleart.space, I’m sharing my explorations in user-centered design analysis (UXUI) and research methodology, as well as graphics, fine arts, and pet baking. I adore the therapeutic space when making my crafts and transiting my world on time-lapse.

Certified Usability Analyst (CUA)
The increase for companies to understand the user experience in lead conversion has spurred me to take up the Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) exam from Human Factor Institution (HFI).
CUA (Certified User Analyst) exams test principles of persuasion engineering, strategy, innovation, and institutionalization of usability. It covers the fundamental principles of user-centered design in UX/UI (User experience and User interface design).
Certified Digital Persuasion Digital Analyst (CDPA) emphasizes web analytics, SEO, and branding to increase conversion. These powerful knowledge tools and processes help to influence customers through effective design, marketing, and copy.
Software Exploration & Education
With ever-changing technology and companies moving toward digital, there has been a surge to upskill software knowledge.
Embarking on the digital journey to learn digital drawing, photography, video, and understand the foundations for complex high/low fidelity UI wireframes for apps and websites has presented endless challenges and excitement.
Some of my software skills in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Figma, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Procreate, WordPress, and Shopify are listed in my portfolio.
I graduated from the Curtin University of Technology with a Bachelor of Arts (Design) and a Diploma in Information Studies from Temasek Polytechnic.
